Syrah

The soft, dark ruby ripe Syrah wine reveals a peppery blackberry with underbrush of oak. It reveals plenty of character and richness as well as a certain elegance and earthiness.  Well integrated flavors with a sweet smoky finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Delicately crafted, this full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon has a nose with subtle hints of roses and ripe red fruit. Even tanins and an inviting oak essence draw you into its robust flavor. Its ruby red color nearly glows from the glass before the delicate richness shares its rich flavor with your tongue.

Merlot

Our 2005 Merlot is fruity and smooth in texture with a hint of black cherry and vanilla.  Merlot should be served slightly below room temperature for optimum flavor.  This wine is well-balanced, with soft tannins and rich fruit that make it approachable now; but it will continue to develop for several years.

Chenin Blanc

This is a superbly rich, delicately sweet well-defined wine.  Its seductive citrus fruit aromas and flavors are finished off with a hint of ruby red grapefruit.  Crisp and refreshing this fine wine would be best served with seafood and pasta.

Chardonnay

A fresh crispness on the palate that is alive with green apple and nutty essences.  This balanced and complex wine has a long creamy finish.  Very easy drinking with a fresh clean aftertaste, no woodiness or oak residue.

Barbera

A red wine heavy bodied with a wonderful ruby red color and a hint of berries and cherries.  One of the most food friendly wines.  The low tannins and structured acidity complements many foods.  Wheatridge has created an exquisite unoaked Barbera.

Sangiovese

A bright ruby-red wine with aromas of dark cherry and coffee. It's then followed by a dark cherry flavor, perked up by notes of pomegranate and lightly spiced. This Sangiovese shows both weight and polish on the palate. Integrated tannins and ample acidity contribute to the full, yet balanced elegant finish.
